Regional Sales Director DACH

We are looking for a Sales Director DACH for a client within the SaaS industry.

Responsibilities

·      Develop and manage the company’s sales pipeline to forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales volumes for existing and new products

·      Monitor sales volume, product mix, selling price, supply and demand tools, economic indicators and competitor’s sales strategies to enhance the company’s sales success

·      Collaborates with key managers on systems development; process improvement; customer management; new product introduction; and resource management

·      Designs, implements, and manages sales and services forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

·      Meet/exceed booking, revenue and Sales targets on a quarterly and yearly basis for the DACH Region

·      Build Strategic (long term) and tactical (short term) operating plan for growing the business in the region, discuss goals and resources with the CEO, communicate plans to both Executive Leadership and local go-to-market team

·      Drive the sales activity of the company, developing partnership and pursuing a direct touch sales model when effective

·      Look for and drive towards repeatable sales process, in repeatable high growth segments of the market.

·      Lead by example and be with the team frequently, being involved in strategic deals. Support their needs. Provide the essential tools and training.

·      Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.

·      Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed within the company

·      Accountable for the timely assignment of all sales, partner and service organization objectives

·      Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales, channel and service organization productivity

·      Works closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales, partner and service organization success

·      Ensures financial reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales, and services organizations; develops new reporting tools as needed

·      Coordinates with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales force and services reporting initiatives

·      Cross-functional engagement with Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Partner Alliances, Services & Employee Success.

·      Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives

·      Ability to balance on a day-to-day basis activities delivering short/mid-term results (i.e. within the fiscal year) with strategic long-term prospects.

·      Experience working in a global sales team in a complex sales cycle, including development of a unique value proposition for large, multinational customers.

·      Demonstrate true leadership ability and have strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to manage effectively up, down and across and organization

·      The successful candidate will have demonstrated his/her ability to upgrade and develop an organization via recruiting, training and performance management

·      Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to work independently and within a team environment

·      15+ years of sales or sales management experience in a B2B sales environment

·      Willingness to travel

Required Education

Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; MBA or equivalent preferred

Languages

Fluent in English and German
