Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

• Working alongside the CEO, VP R&D and VP Tech Innovation to define the product vision and strategy
• Aligning and providing feedback on the product roadmap, working closely with the product to decide on prioritization, resource allocation, and timelines
• Leading all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analyses, strategic planning, design/architecture, execution, deployment, and maintenance
• Advising the R&D team and the technological innovation team
• Scouting and implementing new technologies within the departments
• Aligning with the R&D team on scale-up strategy

• 8+ years of experience as the CTO / VP R&D / Head of R&D / Team Leader in food technologies for a food company, preferably with a track record of one or more food tech companies
• Experience and knowledge in different types of technologies used in the food industry
• An effective leader and team-player who knows how to hire and manage the right talent to scale the engineering team
• Someone who loves to be hands-on, and not manage from an office
• At least 10 years of experience in food company
• Experience in alternative/ plant-based meat company- great advantage
