We are looking for a VP of Sales covering the UK for a client within the consumer electronics space.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development & execution of the UK Sales plan
  • Identify and plan sales strategies including distribution, implementation of retail marketing strategies and defining how to excel in new and existing products/categories.
  • Work within established Promotional Agreement to ensure sales and margin targets are met making suggestions where necessary to drive market share
  • Building and executing the joined business plan with the customers in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Build, manage and coach a high performing Sales team
  • Roll out marketing activation all retail channels including compliance with Distribution Agreement and Brand Standards
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies in conjunction with Marketing.
  • P&L responsibility, budget, forecast, pricing and margin management

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • 12+ years of experience with selling to major retailer/ e-tailers/ distributors/channels within Consumer electronics industry
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceed planned objectives, providing personal leadership through
  • Good level of presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Team, People and team leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must have good sense of current consumer electronic trends and market competition, especially in applicable segments
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales and business (competitive) strategy
  • Ability to travel
