We are partnering with a rapidly growing global cybersecurity software company that is transforming how organisations secure access to critical business information and protect sensitive data. To support continued growth across the Benelux region, the company is seeking an ambitious and driven Account Executive to join its high-performing sales team.
Based in the Netherlands, this role will be responsible for driving new business growth across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, focusing on SMB and Mid Market customers. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close, while helping organisations address increasingly important security, compliance, and productivity challenges.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across SMB and Mid Market organisations throughout the Benelux region.- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, channel partners, and marketing initiatives.- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer challenges, objectives, and security requirements.- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and commercial presentations to prospective customers.- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers across IT, Security, Operations, and Executive leadership teams.- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel teams to maximise revenue opportunities.- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management within CRM systems.- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.- Stay informed on market trends, competitive developments, and customer requirements within the cybersecurity landscape.
Job Requirements
- Proven success in a quota-carrying Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales role.- Experience selling SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, identity management, or other enterprise software solutions.- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving new customer acquisition.- Experience managing complex sales opportunities through the full sales cycle.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Ability to build relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.- Strong consultative sales approach and customer-centric mindset.- Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.- Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.- Previous experience selling into the Benelux market would be highly advantageous.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant sales, cybersecurity, or technology certifications are beneficial but not essential.
Languages
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Fluent Dutch, written and spoken.
French & additional European languages would be considered a plus.
