We are looking for an Account Manager based in Belgium. You will be responsible for generating new customers and following up on leads created by the marketing activities. You have an excellent sense for business opportunities and know-howto effectively introduce and sell products to prospects in and out of your network. With your drive, sales skills and your experience in IT and/or geospatial environment, you effectively execute the sales cycle from prospect to order.

Responsibilities

• Leading the digital transformation engagements and opportunities in the Local Government Vertical by being a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.


• Planning and implementing client specific account plans in correspondence with the yearly targets in order identify priorities and set quarterly objectives.


• Meeting quarterly sales targets through sales of products and solutions forgiven target market and area of focus


• Building a formal and informal network and maintaining client relationships by being in close contact and provide support in order to understand the business needs and objectives, maximize the value of the purchased licenses,add value by consulting and to spot opportunities.


• Working closely together with client to build the program of digital transformation change with the use of renewing, cross- and up selling licenses and solutions.


• Creating contracts within the legal boundaries and pricing guidelines of the company and managing invoices.


• Deep understanding of specific clients’ business, challenges and work processes to consult clients on digital transformation.


• Providing feedback from clients and insights from the market to partners, to the sales, business development and product team to help learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation

Job Requirements

• 3+years of sales experience


• Effectively builds formal and informal relationships networks inside and outside the organization. Has, or is able to, create a wide network to learn early about industry developments and attain significant influence.


• Self-starter, goal & result-oriented, with high energy, and the ability to close deals


• Very good communication skills.


• Understanding of customer processes and business workflows is a must



• Willingness to work in a dynamic start-up environment is essential


• Experience with selling to Local Government and knowledge of tender processes is required


• Technical background, preferably in a geospatial environment such as GPS, GIS, mapping, surveying, geodesy or navigation is a plus


     

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Languages

French and/or Dutch are required, English is required
