We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across the UK. The role is responsible for accounts with up to 2,000 seats, driving revenue growth and building strong, long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing accounts, a deep understanding of the SME market, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs in the cybersecurity industry.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of SME accounts across the UK, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive new business opportunities and upsell existing accounts by understanding client needs and aligning solutions to meet their cybersecurity challenges.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account plans to achieve growth targets, including forecasting, pipeline management, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales engineers, customer success, marketing, etc.) to deliver customized solutions and drive customer success.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the SME market to provide value-added insights to clients.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on account status, sales progress, and forecasts to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in the cybersecurity, software, or technology sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the SME market in the UK, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this segment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the UK as required to meet with clients.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on customer success.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
  • Required Education

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered. Additional certifications in sales, account management, or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
