Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to take on the role of Area Vice President (AVP) for the Nordics region, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The successful candidate will lead business operations across five key markets—Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland—for a leading European technology firm specializing in innovative solutions within the IT sector. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the business operations across the Nordics region, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and execute regional business strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives tailored to the unique needs of each country within the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and the successful launch of new products and services.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the IT or technology sector, with a strong focus on the Nordics market.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive growth and profitability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Nordic languages is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the regional market dynamics, including regulatory frameworks, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region to meet business objectives and engage with key stakeholders.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business success in the Nordics region.
- Extensive experience in managing multi-country operations, with a strong understanding of cultural, economic, and business nuances across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, ideally in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
