We are working with a global technology leader in the smart mobility space to recruit a Business Development Manager focused on growing their footprint across Central Eastern Europe, with a strong emphasis on the Polish market. This role centers on B2B sales of fleet management systems and video telematics solutions.

The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, manage key partner relationships, and help shape the commercial direction in one of the most dynamic and high-potential regions in Europe.

Responsibilities

Sales & Strategy

  • Lead the sales strategy for Poland and the broader CEE region, aligned with global business objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Launch and manage local demand generation activities to build brand visibility and pipeline momentum.
  • Consistently deliver on sales targets (revenue and gross profit) for the region.

Client & Channel Development

  • Develop and manage a network of distribution partners and direct B2B clients, particularly within the Polish fleet management market.
  • Deliver partner enablement through onboarding, training, and ongoing commercial support.
  • Conduct proper due diligence before entering new commercial agreements.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities via networking, events, and direct outreach.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate monthly forecasts, budget tracking, and project pipeline updates.
  • Produce management reports detailing sales performance, customer activity, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to monitor performance and optimize strategy.

Market Insight & Leadership

  • Act as the voice of the region, providing feedback on market dynamics, competitor movements, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Champion the company's values and vision across all interactions.

Job Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in fleet management, telematics, or video telematics.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow both direct accounts and channel partners across multiple territories.
  • Strong knowledge of the Polish market, ideally with existing relationships in the fleet/automotive tech sector.

Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of mobile computing and connected vehicle technologies.
  • Fluent in Polish and English; additional CEE languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with CRM and reporting tools.

  • Commercially astute with strong initiative and problem-solving ability.
  • Tenacious, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus but not mandatory. Additional certifications or training in sales, mobility solutions, or telematics would be advantageous.
