We are partnering with a rapidly growing FinTech company based in Dublin to recruit an experienced and strategic Chief People Officer (CPO). The company is a key player in the FinTech sector, offering cutting-edge solutions that are transforming financial services. As the CPO, you will lead the overall human resources strategy, focusing on aligning the people agenda with the company's rapid expansion and innovation goals. Responsibilities
People Strategy & Leadership: Develop and drive a forward-thinking people strategy that supports the FinTech company's growth objectives and strengthens its organizational culture.Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention efforts to attract world-class talent in a competitive market, ensuring scalable processes that align with the company’s growth trajectory.Culture & Employee Engagement: Shape and maintain a positive, high-performance culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.Learning & Development: Build and implement leadership and employee development programs to ensure talent is nurtured and aligned with the company’s long-term goals.HR Operations: Oversee all aspects of HR operations including compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring operational excellence.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Design and implement effective DEI initiatives that reflect the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and diverse talent pool.Compensation & Benefits: Lead the development of competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent, balancing market competitiveness with company financial goals.Change Management: Act as a key driver in organizational change, helping to navigate transitions related to scale, new product launches, and market expansions.HR Data & Analytics: Leverage data analytics to measure HR effectiveness and provide insights to support business decisions.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, minimizing risk and fostering a compliant culture.
Job Requirements
Experience: At least 10+ years of senior HR leadership experience, including 5 years in a CPO, VP of People, or similar executive role within the FinTech or financial services industry.FinTech Expertise: Proven track record of leading HR functions in a fast-growing FinTech, tech, or similarly regulated, high-growth environment.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills with a proven ability to lead HR teams and collaborate with senior executives.Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically while executing operational plans, aligning HR initiatives with broader business goals.Change Management: Expertise in leading HR through periods of rapid growth or transformation, with a deep understanding of scaling HR processes and systems.Diversity & Inclusion: Demonstrable experience in building DEI programs that have positively impacted organizational culture and employee experience.Global HR Experience: Experience in a global or multi-national company, with knowledge of international HR practices and employment law.Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making and measure HR impact.Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and collaborate with C-suite executives and senior leaders across the organization.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications are a plus).
Advanced certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR are highly desirable.
Languages
English fluency: Essential, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus, though not required.
