Corporate Account Manager
Job Description
A fast growing international software technology provider is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to drive revenue growth across mid market organizations. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding relationships within existing customers, and positioning modern software solutions that support secure and efficient digital work environments.
The position is territory based and involves working closely with cross functional teams and an extensive partner ecosystem. The successful candidate will combine strong new business development skills with the ability to manage and grow customer relationships across organizations typically ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 employees.
Responsibilities
Territory and Account Development
- Manage a defined territory of mid market organizations, typically ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 employees.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding relationships within existing corporate accounts.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, prospecting, and marketing lead follow up.
- Position enterprise software solutions and clearly communicate their value within customer environments.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate customers, ensuring strong engagement and long term relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and align solutions that address operational, security, and digital workplace needs.
- Manage customer expectations while maintaining a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
Channel and Partner Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with channel partners and technology ecosystem partners to generate pipeline and execute joint opportunities.
- Work closely with partners to develop new business and support expansion within existing accounts.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales engineers, account managers, sales development representatives, marketing, and channel managers.
- Engage subject matter experts and leadership when needed to support complex opportunities.
- Participate in company initiatives, committees, and industry events to support business development.
Sales Planning and Execution
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through CRM systems.
- Participate in regular territory reviews, forecasting calls, and quarterly business reviews with senior leadership.
Job Requirements
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Languages
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
