We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join a prestigious family office based in Geneva. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the family’s multi-asset portfolio, ensuring its alignment with the family's investment goals, risk tolerance, and long-term financial objectives. The role will demand close interaction with internal and external stakeholders, along with a deep understanding of financial markets, asset allocation, and risk management.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in portfolio management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make informed investment decisions across diverse asset classes. Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of a diversified, multi-asset investment portfolio including equities, bonds, alternatives, private equity, and real estate.
  • Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies in alignment with the family’s goals and risk tolerance. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and global events to make informed recommendations.
  • Asset Allocation: Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio performance, assess risk exposure, and rebalance asset allocation when necessary to optimize returns while minimizing risks.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities, sectors, and potential acquisitions. Analyze financial reports, market trends, and economic data to support investment decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the portfolio. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management frameworks.
  • Relationship Management: Liaise with banks, financial institutions, external asset managers, and other third-party providers. Maintain strong working relationships with service providers to secure best-in-class execution and services.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to the family and key stakeholders. Provide recommendations for adjustments in investment strategies as required.
  • Monitoring & Compliance: Ensure portfolio activities comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards. Maintain and update investment policies and procedures.
  • Job Requirements

    Experience:

    • 8-10 years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or a similar role, ideally within a family office or wealth management firm.
    • Demonstrated success managing multi-asset portfolios including equities, bonds, alternative investments, and real estate.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and investment analysis.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in portfolio management software, financial research platforms, and financial analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar).
    • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.

    Required Education

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation is strongly preferred.
