We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader who will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and maximize revenue within the government sector. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, business acumen, and industry expertise to navigate complex government landscapes and deliver value to the clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the government vertical in Europe.

Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and account management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and customer-centricity.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, policymakers, and industry influencers, to identify opportunities and drive business expansion.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business objectives and deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of government clients.

Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the government sector, providing strategic guidance and insights to inform decision-making.

Drive thought leadership initiatives, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase our expertise and build brand credibility.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics, financial indicators, and KPIs to evaluate business performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures, to uphold ethical standards and mitigate risk.

Job Requirements

Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the GIS/ BI/AI/ SaaS industry, with a focus on the government sector.

Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, and political dynamics across European markets.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.

Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.

Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and support business activities across Europe.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Languages

Proficiency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.‍
