Senior Presales Engineer
Job Description
A growing international software technology provider is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to support enterprise customers in designing, implementing, and expanding modern digital workspace and endpoint management solutions. This role serves as a strategic technical advisor, working closely with enterprise IT teams to ensure successful adoption, deployment, and long term optimization of platform technologies.
The Senior Presales Engineer acts as a key technical bridge between customers and internal product, engineering, and support teams. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, enabling customers to fully leverage modern virtualization, endpoint management, and digital workplace solutions while ensuring alignment with their broader IT strategy.
Responsibilities
Technical Advisory and Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong long term relationships with enterprise customers as a trusted technical advisor.
- Support customers in the design, deployment, and expansion of digital workspace and endpoint management solutions.
- Provide technical enablement and knowledge transfer to help customers maximize the value of deployed technologies.
Solution Architecture and Implementation Support
- Guide enterprise customers through infrastructure planning, upgrades, and implementation strategies.
- Validate technical designs and ensure best practices are followed during project delivery.
- Develop detailed technical account plans including infrastructure documentation, deployment timelines, and technology roadmaps.
Technical Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
- Support the investigation and escalation of complex technical challenges through to resolution.
- Work closely with internal support and engineering teams to ensure high quality outcomes for enterprise customers.
- Identify performance improvements and optimization opportunities across customer environments.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between enterprise customers and internal product teams to communicate feature requests and product feedback.
- Collaborate with sales teams, technical specialists, and partners during pre sales and solution design engagements.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and technical documentation for customer deployments.
Strategic Growth and Opportunity Identification
- Identify opportunities for solution expansion based on customer requirements and evolving technology environments.
- Support consultative engagements that align platform capabilities with customer business objectives.
- Apply structured IT service management and project delivery practices to support customer success.
Job Requirements
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Languages
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Other Compensation
