We are partnering with a high-growth cybersecurity software company that is expanding its commercial leadership team in the United States.

The business provides a modern security platform designed to help organisations protect identities, credentials, devices, applications, and sensitive data. Its solutions span several core cybersecurity areas, including:

  • Password management and credential security
  • Privileged access management
  • Identity and access management
  • Secrets management
  • Single sign-on and authentication
  • Endpoint security
  • Zero Trust security
  • Cloud and SaaS security
  • Data protection and compliance

The company is seeking a commercially driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale its US sales organisation. This individual will be responsible for building a predictable, high-performing revenue engine, developing sales leadership capability, and driving sustainable growth across enterprise, mid-market, and channel-led opportunities.

This is a senior leadership position for someone who combines strategic commercial judgement with a hands-on approach to execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment, working closely with the executive team, and personally engaging in critical customer, partner, and strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the US sales organisation to achieve ambitious annual recurring revenue and growth targets.
  • Define and execute the US go-to-market strategy across enterprise, mid-market, commercial, and channel sales motions.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales leaders and individual contributors.
  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence around pipeline creation, forecasting, deal inspection, territory planning, and performance management.
  • Build a predictable sales engine with clear metrics across pipeline coverage, conversion, sales cycle, retention, and expansion.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to improve revenue performance.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, partners, resellers, distributors, and technology alliances.
  • Personally support and lead major strategic opportunities, executive-level engagements, and complex negotiations.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM, forecasting tools, and sales methodology across the organisation.
  • Provide regular, accurate reporting and strategic insight to the executive leadership team and Board.
  • Identify new market opportunities, verticals, routes to market, and growth initiatives across the United States.
  • Build a culture of accountability, customer focus, commercial discipline, and high performance.
  • Job Requirements

  • Significant senior sales leadership experience within cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS, identity, or cloud technology.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling US sales organisations in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong track record of delivering and exceeding revenue targets, ideally within a recurring revenue business model.
  • Experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions into enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of one or more relevant areas, including password management, privileged access management, identity security, access management, authentication, secrets management, endpoint security, Zero Trust, cloud security, or data protection.
  • Experience building and leading direct sales, channel, partner, and alliance strategies.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, procurement teams, and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and strategic planning capability.
  • Data-driven approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly accountable environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the United States as required.
  • Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred. MBA or relevant executive education would be advantageous but is not essential. Relevant cybersecurity, cloud, or sales leadership certifications would be beneficial.

    Fluent English, written and spoken. Additional languages would be considered an advantage but are not required.
