VP of Sales EMEA
Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Sales, EMEA to drive strategic and operational excellence across the EMEA region. This leadership role focuses on overseeing Regional Sales Directors and their extended teams to achieve revenue growth, refine sales methodologies, and cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture. The VP of Sales will lead channel development, team enablement, and sales process improvements, while acting as a hands-on, motivating leader for the entire sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously refine the sales, channel, and distribution strategies across the EMEA region to drive global new customer acquisition.
- Define and optimize the sales processes, methodologies, and performance management systems, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Set clear sales objectives and KPIs, linking them to key processes such as lead management, pipeline management, and business-critical operations.
- Oversee and deliver EMEA financial results, including sales revenue and direct operating profit, ensuring all sales targets and productivity goals—especially new business acquisition—are met.
- Provide detailed, accurate sales forecasting to the executive leadership team.
- Continuously monitor team performance, identify underperformance, and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
- Foster a culture of success and accountability, recruiting top-tier talent while offering mentorship and professional development opportunities to existing team members.
- Develop and oversee sales-specific training programs to enable the team to achieve their potential and drive results.
- Design and manage sales staff compensation and incentive programs to motivate teams and align with annual goals and long-term business objectives.
- Build and nurture key customer and partner relationships through regular travel and in-person meetings, identifying opportunities for business expansion and actively driving the closing of strategic deals.
- Gather internal and external market insights (e.g., customer, partner, and competitive signals) and communicate effectively across functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Support, and the Executive Leadership.
- Manage sales budgets, ensuring yearly financial objectives for spending and profitability are met. Take proactive corrective actions when needed.
Job Requirements
•Minimum of 15 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the B2B cybersecurity sector.
•Experience in Endpoint Security (EPP, EDR,XDR, MDR) is highly desired
•Proven history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
•Experience in scaling sales operations and sales processes in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
•Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and processes that align with overall business objectives.
•Expertise in market analysis, segmentation, and penetration to capture new opportunities.
•Strong distribution and reseller channel understanding and proven success track record of building and scaling channel sales organizations.
•Demonstrated ability to drive GTM strategy and execution.
•Solid understanding of modern methods of running a B2B software sales cycle, focusing on consultative sales, execution quality and operational excellence / sales process.
•Possess strong understanding of how to be successful in hypercompetitive markets.
•Extensive experience in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
•Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts hands-on.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
•Exceptional ability to motivate and uplift sales teams to improve execution. Ability to identify weakness and execute changes in a timely fashion.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of our products and negotiate deals.
•Strong GTM acumen, can take an active role side by side with marketing in defining and executing GTM strategy and execution, informed by direct customer and channel exposure and understanding of the market dynamics.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address sales challenges and adapt strategies based on market dynamics.
