CFO/COO
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join our executive team as the CFO/COO. The CFO/COO will play a critical role in overseeing all operational and financial activities of the company, contributing to its overall success and growth. Being an important member of the Executive team, you will provide strategic leadership, financial guidance, and operational expertise. In addition to managing finance and operations, you will be responsible for corporate development and shareholder management, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic and operational plans, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Build, lead and manage the finance & ops team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive excellence in financial operations.
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and safeguard the company's assets.
- Drive corporate development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances, to support the company's growth strategy.
- Manage shareholder relationships, investor communications, and fundraising activities, engaging in future investment rounds and maintaining strong investor relations.
- Provide strategic guidance and insights to the CEO, executive team and board on financial, operational, and business performance matters.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes, including pricing strategies, cost optimization, and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to drive operational efficiencies and enhance overall business performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through the implementation and maintenance of robust financial systems and processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to finance, operations, and corporate governance.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in senior finance and operational leadership roles, ideally within the SaaS or technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Solid understanding of operational functions and the ability to drive operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate development, including M&A and fundraising.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and accountability.
Required Education
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (MBA or MSc Business Administration preferred).
