Our client, a SaaS-based geospatial data and digital insight solutions provider, is seeking a Junior Account Manager to support new business growth within the local government segment. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career with energy for outbound engagement and interest in public sector digitalization.

Responsibilities

    • Build and prioritize a target list of municipalities and public agencies.
    • Generate first meetings through outreach across urban planning, mobility, GIS, public works and smart city departments.
    • Present concise value messaging aligned to municipal planning, asset management and permitting needs.
    • Conduct discovery and document opportunity context including stakeholders and potential scope.
    • Coordinate initial demos and pilot setups with technical teams.
    • Support basic public procurement steps such as document tracking and submission preparation.
    • Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in CRM.
    • Collect insights on grants, policy shifts and digital initiatives relevant to target organisations.
  • Job Requirements

    • 1–3 years in B2B sales, SDR or junior account management.
    • Interest in public sector digital transformation and municipal decision-making processes.
    • Confident communicator with persistence in outreach and relationship building.
    • Organized approach with ability to document opportunities clearly.
    • Positive, proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Required Education

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Languages

    Fluent in German with good English communication skills.
