Junior Account Manager - Telco, Germany
Job Description
Our client, a European SaaS and geospatial data insights provider, is looking for an Account Manager focused on the telecom sector to drive new business within a defined territory. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-activity, outbound-focused environment and is motivated to open new accounts and convert interest into qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
· Prospect into telecom operators and fibre deployment companies to generate qualified meetings.
· Engage decision-makers across network planning, rollout, field operations and procurement functions.
· Present value propositions tied to network expansion, planning efficiency and asset visibility.
· Capture opportunity requirements and coordinate demos or pilot engagements with technical teams.
· Maintain structured notes, next steps and opportunity stages within CRM.
· Assist with RFP/tender preparation by coordinating documentation and internal approvals.
· Support smooth handover of early-stage opportunities to senior account teams once won.
· Gather market intelligence on competitors, investment programs and regional rollout activity.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Hunter mindset with resilience and willingness to conduct high-volume outreach.
- Good understanding or willingness to learn telecom industry workflows.
- Strong communication and ability to tailor messaging to multiple stakeholder types.
- Proactive and structured, with disciplined CRM usage.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Languages
Fluency in German and good command of English.
