Senior Marketing Manager

UNITE is supporting a leading international Cybersecurity/Software company in the search for an experienced Senior Marketing Lead to

drive marketing strategy and execution across Germany, while also providing support for MEA and Eastern Europe.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software security landscape and a proven track record in developing and

implementing successful region-wide marketing strategies and programs. This role requires people management skills, creativity, strategic

and analytical thinking, and the ability to enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and strengthen customer engagement.

Regional Marketing Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement a comprehensive regional marketing strategy aligned with global and regional business objectives
• Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive pipeline growth and support revenue goals
• Take a hands-on approach to both strategic direction and tactical execution across all marketing activities
• Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial priorities
• Support marketing teams in MEA and Eastern Europe through guidance, shared materials, and performance tracking

Demand Generation & Pipeline Management

• Oversee demand generation programs, including digital campaigns, events, and account-based marketing (ABM)
• Partner with sales teams to ensure effective lead management and conversion throughout the sales funnel
• Analyse pipeline performance and apply data-driven insights to improve marketing efficiency and conversion rates

Partner Marketing

• Develop and manage partner marketing initiatives to support joint go-to-market activities with the regional channel team and key reseller partners
• Oversee the partner marketing (MDF) program, reviewing and approving requests while ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Collaborate with alliances marketing teams to integrate partner programs into regional marketing plans

Event Marketing

• Plan and execute regional events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences
• Manage budgets, logistics, and post-event follow-up to ensure strong ROI and lead quality
• Align all events with strategic business goals and provide detailed performance reporting

Performance Tracking

• Work with regional and global marketing teams to refine performance tracking and reporting
• Analyse metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven improvements

Budget Management

• Manage the regional marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources to maximise impact and ROI

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth

Travel

• Travel regionally and nationally (up to 30%) to meet teams, attend trade shows, and other marketing events
• Occasional international travel may be required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred

8+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in the software security or technology industry

Proven experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation

Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and related customer pain points

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in marketing analytics tools and CRM software

Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Marketing experience in DACH territories, wider EMEA experience is an advantage
