Our client - a provider of a SaaS-based geospatial data and digital insight solutions - is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead GTM execution for new verticals within the private sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building market approach from scratch and opening strategic lighthouse accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market execution for private sector verticals such as real estate, engineering and infrastructure services.
  • Conduct market analysis, segmentation and definition of ideal customer profiles.
  • Develop use case narratives and sales plays based on existing data assets.
  • Drive outbound prospecting, partner activations and event-based lead generation.
  • Conduct discovery calls, value sessions and prepare basic business cases.
  • Coordinate with technical presales and marketing to shape opportunities and content.
  • Build channel and alliance partnerships relevant to target industry segments.
  • Lay groundwork for future team expansion by defining repeatable sales motions.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B new business development or enterprise sales.
  • Proven experience in building or executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Comfortable selling data, software or digital solutions to commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong outbound capability and ability to engage senior-level decision-makers.
  • Experience with structured sales processes and CRM hygiene.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and shape new business areas.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Languages

Fluent in German and business-level English.
