Territory Account Manager - Public & Healthcare
Job Description
A leading European software technology provider is seeking a Territory Account Manager, Public Sector and Healthcare to support the growth of its digital workspace and endpoint management solutions across government and healthcare organizations. This role focuses on developing relationships with public institutions, hospitals, and university medical centers, helping them modernize their IT environments while improving security, efficiency, and manageability.
The role is suited to a motivated sales professional earlier in their enterprise sales career who is eager to build expertise within the public sector and healthcare ecosystem. Working within a defined territory, the successful candidate will focus on new customer acquisition, supporting existing customers, and collaborating closely with channel partners and internal teams to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Territory Development
- Manage a defined territory focused on public sector organizations, hospitals, and university medical centers.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within government institutions and healthcare providers.
- Support the expansion of existing customers by identifying additional use cases and departments.
Customer Engagement
- Build relationships with IT decision makers within healthcare institutions and public sector organizations.
- Understand customer requirements related to security, endpoint management, digital workspaces, and infrastructure modernization.
- Present software solutions that support improved operational efficiency, security, and compliance.
Partner and Ecosystem Collaboration
- Work closely with channel partners, system integrators, and technology partners to identify and develop opportunities within the territory.
- Support partner driven sales initiatives and joint customer engagements.
- Participate in partner events, industry conferences, and regional initiatives focused on healthcare and public sector technology.
Sales Execution
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities through prospecting, networking, and partner engagement.
- Support the full sales cycle from initial engagement through proposal and contract close.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management using CRM systems.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with presales engineers, channel managers, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Engage technical specialists during customer discussions to support solution design and demonstrations.
- Participate in territory planning, forecast reviews, and sales performance discussions.
Job Requirements
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Languages
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
