Chief Human Resources Officer
Job Description
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be a strategic and hands-on executive responsible for leading the firm’s global people strategy across the investment management platform. Working closely with the executive team and principals, the CHRO will ensure that talent, culture, and organizational design are fully aligned with the firm’s long-term investment philosophy and growth ambitions.
This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence. The CHRO will build scalable people processes while preserving a high-performance, values-driven culture. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and capable of partnering with senior leadership on complex organizational, governance, and talent matters.
Responsibilities
· Define and execute the firm’s global human capital and people strategy
· Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and principals on organizational design, leadership development, and succession planning
· Lead senior-level talent acquisition across investment, commercial, and operational functions
· Design and oversee compensation, incentive, and long-term retention frameworks aligned with performance and ownership structures
· Build and maintain a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and integrity
· Oversee performance management, talent development, and learning initiatives across the platform
· Ensure compliance with Swiss and international employment laws, regulations, and best practices
· Lead employee relations, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
· Partner with portfolio company leadership on human capital strategy and value creation initiatives
· Oversee HR operations, policies, systems, and reporting
· Support broader strategic and special projects as required by the executive team
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, including senior or executive-level roles
- Strong experience within asset management, private equity, financial services, or similarly complex, high-performance environments
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership and boards
- Deep expertise in compensation design, performance management, and leadership development
- Strong understanding of Swiss and international employment frameworks
- Experience building scalable HR infrastructure in growing or entrepreneurial organizations
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with limited oversight
- High-integrity, low-ego leader with a collaborative and pragmatic approach
Willingness to travel internationally as required
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field required; Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant HR certifications are a strong plus.
Languages
Fluency in English required; fluency in French is strongly preferred. Additional European languages are an advantage.
