Our client, a private equity-backed enterprise software company headquartered in the EU, is seeking a commercially driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead global revenue growth. With approximately 600 employees and a strong international presence, the company is undergoing a period of transformation and scaling. Current annual revenues are over €100 million, and the CRO will be directly responsible for driving further topline expansion across all commercial channels.

This role will be based in Denmark, operating on a hybrid model, and will require frequent global travel to support regional teams and customers. The CRO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for aligning and executing the global go-to-market strategy across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global revenue strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
  • Lead and scale high-performing teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel/Partner functions
  • Drive predictable revenue generation through both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure revenue goals are integrated across departments
  • Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to ensure accountability and transparency
  • Represent the company with key enterprise customers and strategic partners globally
  • Build scalable processes and systems that support international sales growth
  • Provide board-level reporting on revenue performance and strategic initiatives
  • Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in B2B software, preferably within a private equity or growth-stage environment
  • Proven success in building and managing global sales and customer-facing teams across multiple geographies
  • Strong track record of revenue growth and operational execution
  • Experience managing revenue functions across direct and indirect channels
  • Commercially astute with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Capable of operating at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed
  • Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field required MBA or other advanced degree is preferred

    Languages

    Fluent English required Danish or other European languages are a plus but not essential
