Our client, a leading international company with a presence across Europe and North America, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join their executive team. The CMO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategy and driving growth in key markets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse marketing team across multiple regions, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance.
  • Collaborate with other C-suite executives to drive the overall business strategy and achieve corporate goals.
  • Brand Management:
    • Oversee the development and management of the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning in all markets.
    • Enhance brand recognition and equity through innovative campaigns and strategic partnerships.
  • Market Expansion:
    • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, leveraging market research and competitive analysis.
    • Drive expansion strategies in existing and new markets, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Lead the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
    • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Product Marketing:
    • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure successful product launches and market positioning.
    • Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
    • Track and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet financial targets.
  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years (15 preferred) of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies on an international scale.
  • Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and achieve business objectives through innovative marketing solutions.
  • Experience in digital marketing and proficiency with marketing technologies and analytics tools.
  • Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. MBA or other advanced degree in a related discipline is highly preferred.

    Languages

    Proficiency in English & Portuguese is required. Additional language skills relevant to key markets in Europe and North America are highly advantageous.
