Our client is a discreet and well-capitalised single-family office based in Copenhagen. With a long-term perspective and permanent capital, the family invests across asset classes, stages, and geographies, with a primary focus on opportunities in the Nordics. The investment approach is opportunistic, entrepreneurial, and values-driven, with a bias towards direct investments and active ownership.

The Investment Manager will join a small, high-calibre team and take on an integral role in the full investment lifecycle. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring a diverse range of investments, across sectors and asset types. The role requires intellectual agility, sound judgement, and the ability to operate with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and execute direct investments, co-investments, and fund allocations
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and market research
  • Support origination efforts and maintain relationships with advisors, partners, and counterparties
  • Prepare investment materials for internal decision-making
  • Assist with portfolio management, including strategic development and governance work with portfolio companies
  • Support broader family office strategy and special projects as needed
  • Job Requirements

  • 3–7 years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, principal investing, or similar
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with limited oversight
  • Experience with Nordic markets and/or a strong professional network in the region
  • Fluent in English (Nordic languages a strong plus)
  • Low-ego, high-integrity character who thrives in a discreet, non-corporate environment
  • Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus.

    Languages

    Fluency in English required; proficiency in a Nordic language (Danish) is strongly preferred.
