We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join a growing international team for an innovative European tech vendor. This role is focused on managing a select portfolio of large, named accounts within the Financial Services and Insurance sector in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic relationship development, expanding account penetration, and consistently exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Articulate and deliver the client’s value proposition effectively, demonstrating a strong understanding of their enterprise solutions and products.
- Cultivate long-term C-level relationships within assigned FSI accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and manage expectations with professionalism and care.
- Drive revenue by developing and closing new opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline through forecasting, strategic account planning, and CRM-based tracking.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams on account-based campaigns to accelerate growth within large organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for named accounts while coordinating with Inside Sales, Channel Managers, and Sales Engineers.
- Own the full sales cycle -from opportunity identification through to close -across multiple levels of customer IT and procurement.
- Participate in regular territory planning, pipeline forecasting, and sales performance reviews with the executive leadership team.
- Engage internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts where needed to support strategic deals and client needs.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record of success in enterprise/global account management, particularly within banking and/or insurance.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue goals and close complex, high-value software and/or hardware transactions.
- Strong hunter mentality - able to identify and close 7-figure deals while being partner- and channel-friendly.
- 5+ years of experience in field sales within enterprise technology (software or hardware).
- Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders within IT and business functions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic planning skills.
- Deep network and solid reputation within the FSI industry.
- Highly collaborative with strong organizational skills and a team-focused mindset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience working with or against incumbent vendors or in markets that require educational, value-driven sales approaches.
- Willingness to travel at least 25%

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
