Regional Sales Director - UK
Job Description
The Regional SalesDirector UK is responsible for leading and managing the UK field sales team,including direct-touch sales representatives and channel account managers. The RSD will also guide andcoach other cross-functions working for the territory, including salesengineers, inside territory account managers and a renewal and retention team,boosting cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidatewill have at least 5 years of experience in sales leadership, as well as a deepunderstanding of the mid-size enterprise cybersecurity market. Will beacknowledged of two-tier channel (distribution, VARs, MSP/MSSPs) and experiencedin direct-touch sales to mid-size and large enterprises.
Experience in end point protection technologies (EDR, XDR) and services(MDR) is a plus.
Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and guidance to the field sales team, including territory account managers and channel account managers.
· Lead the channel account team, whose focus is to develop and maintain strong partnerships with selected value-added resellers to drive revenue growth.
· Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed the company's revenue targets for the mid-market customer segments, with a focus on new logos acquisition.
· Expand best practices and lead the enablement plan across the UK sales organisation.
· Regularly review and optimize the team's processes and operations to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
· Leverage data and metrics to track progress,measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Ensure the sales team is fully trained and equipped to sell the company products and services effectively, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
· Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, from creation to closing, including lead generation, lead qualification, and its evolution.
· Support the sales team on key deals and establish direct relationships with key accounts to ensure high-value customer engagement and satisfaction.
· Establish and nurture direct relationships with distributors and key reseller partners to drive business growth. Collaborate closely to align strategies, share insights, and identify opportunities for joint initiatives.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing activities and campaigns, and track their effectiveness.
· Guide and coordinate the work with the pre-sales group.
· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and metrics, and use data to inform decision-making and improve sales processes and outcomes.
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, forecast, and pipeline management. Manage proper and accurate sales forecasting.
· Retain the best talent and reinforce the team with hiring A-players. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Job Requirements
· At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
· Experience working with mid-market enterprise customers, in organizations selling via channel partners.
· Strong understanding of sales processes, sales methodologies, and SaaS best practices.
· Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to improve sales processes and outcomes.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
