VP HR - EMEA
Job Description
UNITE is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading private cybersecurity company, for a dynamic and strategic VP of Human Resources, EMEA. This role will lead HR initiatives across the region, shaping talent strategy, employee engagement, and organizational development in alignment with our client’s growth objectives. The VP HR will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture while ensuring compliance with regional labor laws and best practices. This hybrid position is based in either Berlin or Munich, with occasional travel across EMEA and to global offices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives across the EMEA region.
- Lead and manage all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
- Partner with senior executives and regional leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and business transformation.
- Ensure compliance with EMEA labor laws, data protection regulations, and corporate governance.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, promoting initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Implement scalable HR processes, systems, and policies to support a growing workforce.
- Act as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Manage HR-related risks and provide guidance on employee relations and workplace issues.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to align regional HR strategies with company-wide goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Strong expertise in HR strategy, organizational development, and talent management.
- Proven track record in leading HR functions within a fast-growing, multinational organization.
- Deep understanding of EMEA labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a strategic vision.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
Languages
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German or another European language is highly desirable.
