As the VP of Operations for the EMEA region, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our client’s growing operations in the region. You will be a key member of the leadership team, collaborating closely with regional leaders across product development, customer success, sales, and marketing to ensure efficient processes, high performance, and exceptional delivery across all operational functions.
You will be responsible for optimizing resources, ensuring that the operational framework aligns with the company’s growth strategy, and driving operational excellence. This is a hybrid role with travel requirements to key hubs across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies in the EMEA region to ensure smooth and efficient processes that align with global goals.Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to optimize operational workflows and improve service delivery across all functions.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and inspire regional operational teams, providing mentorship and development opportunities for leadership across the region.Product Development Coordination: Support the product development teams to ensure timely and successful launches, by ensuring proper resource management and timely feedback.Data & Reporting: Oversee operational metrics and KPIs, driving data-driven decision-making to continually improve operations and performance.Budget & Resource Management: Manage the region’s operational budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve strategic objectives.Customer Success Operations: Partner with customer success teams to optimize processes and ensure exceptional customer experiences across the region.
Job Requirements
Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within a software or technology company.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced, global environment.Operational Excellence: Extensive experience in optimizing operational workflows, project management, and process improvement in a software/technology setting.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans to meet global objectives and regional needs.Collaboration & Influence: Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, engineering, and customer success teams.Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data to drive decisions and measure operational success.Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate and solve complex operational challenges.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
Languages
Fluency in English is required.
Additional languages are a plus, especially those spoken in key EMEA hubs (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian).
