We are partnering with a fast-growing global cybersecurity software company that is transforming how organisations secure and manage access to critical business information. As part of its continued growth across the UK & Ireland, the company is seeking an ambitious and driven Account Executive to help accelerate revenue growth within the SMB and Mid Market segment.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing sales organisation operating within one of the fastest-growing areas of cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing new business opportunities, and helping customers address critical security and compliance challenges.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, consultative sales professional with experience selling SaaS solutions and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close.- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across SMB and Mid Market organisations throughout the UK & Ireland.- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and partner engagement.- Understand customer business challenges and position solutions that deliver measurable value.- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and commercial discussions with key stakeholders.- Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers across IT, Security, Operations, and Executive leadership teams.- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel teams to maximise opportunities.- Accurately forecast sales activity and maintain CRM records.- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and developments within the cybersecurity market.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales role.- Experience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, identity, access management, or related technology solutions.- Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment.- Strong new business acquisition and pipeline generation capabilities.- Experience managing opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling approach.- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a remote and fast-paced environment.- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools is advantageous.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Relevant sales or cybersecurity certifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
Languages
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Additional European languages would be considered an advantage but are not required.
