We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) to join a fast-growing SaaS company based in Dublin, Ireland. This role will lead and drive the overall HR strategy to support the company’s business goals and culture. As the VP HR, you will be responsible for managing the HR function for a global workforce of approximately 400 full-time employees (FTEs). You will work closely with the executive team, providing leadership in areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.

This is a senior leadership role, ideal for an HR professional with deep expertise in scaling teams within the SaaS industry, fostering a strong company culture, and developing forward-thinking HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s HR strategy aligned with business goals and growth initiatives, ensuring a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead the design and implementation of recruitment, talent management, and development strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Organizational Development: Shape the company’s organizational structure, ensuring that the right talent is in place to support the company’s scaling efforts, particularly within tech and customer-facing roles.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes, goal-setting, and employee feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous performance improvement and career development.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment by developing initiatives and policies that promote DEI throughout the company.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and supportive company culture, driving high levels of employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in Ireland and other jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs that attract and retain high-caliber talent.
  • Leadership Development: Coach and mentor senior leaders and managers, enabling them to become better people leaders and align their teams with company goals.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Leverage HR analytics and metrics to track performance, guide decision-making, and continuously optimize HR initiatives.
  • Job Requirements

    • Experience:
      • Minimum 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector.
      • Proven track record of scaling HR functions in high-growth environments (400+ FTEs).
      • Experience working in a global, multi-jurisdictional company, with deep knowledge of Irish labor laws.
    • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS industry dynamics, including challenges around talent acquisition, retention, and organizational development.
    • Strategic Thinker: Ability to build and execute a long-term HR strategy aligned with the business objectives while managing day-to-day HR operations.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
    • Analytical: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure success.

    Required Education

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business is a plus. HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR are desirable.

    Languages

    Fluent in English (written and spoken) Proficiency in other European languages is an advantage, but not mandatory.
